I was given an AMD processor and I can tell that it is a Phenom II, but I can't tell which Phenom II. The numbers on the heat sink are:

HD96ZTWFK4DGR
CCBBE CB 1142EPM
9Y34233J10521

Can anyone help me identify this processor. I searched for these numbers on AMD's webpage, but couldn't find them.

That's a really good processor you've got there :)
A lot of people have success with unlocking two additional cores, making it a true 6 core processor.

Yes the 960T was one of the better Phenoms.

960Ts are still quite good today - people underestimate how powerful they still are, though granted they are not as powerful as the current generation chips.

I got a 965T in a mobo I bought off Bobby that I swapped with my 965BE. Not a bad processor. Just wish it was unlocked like my 965BE was.

The 960T is unlocked. Plus its actually a 6 core with 2 disabled. If its a good chip and you have a good board you can enable the extra 2 cores.

I have one of the AMD Phenom II 960T CPUs. It's advantage over some of the other Phenom IIs is that it is 95 watts compared to the usual 125 watts. That means that it will run cooler than the others. My Phenom II 960T is in an old computer where that really makes a difference.
