IDE header

I'm going to do a new build with an ASUS Sabertooth Z77 MB. However, I would like to incorporate my old HD into the build. I believe I need a IDE header in order to do this. This particular ASUS MB does not have an IDE header built in. Is there another way to connect my old HD?

Buy a new HDD, otherwise it will hamper your performance. What is the point in splashing the cash for what seems to be higher end pc, and then slow it down with an outdated HDD?

Better solution, if you have some valuable data on your HDD, get a chepo usb enclosure. HDD's are super cheap nowadays.

Don't post useless information. (Just completing the sentence, people might misunderstand what you meant by your post.. :D)

Wah??? I don't think i see you post not useful like that. I was talk with Chenty just because it is not useful post. A post without reason why OP should throw away IDE and getting SATA. Also it is off topic because OP ask us to find way to use IDE hard drive on his new computer.
