IDE to Sata converter help...

I bought a couple of these on ebay (for much cheaper) and can't get them to work. My computer won't detect my dvd drive through it, it doesn't even show up as connected in the BIOS.

It says everywhere else besides that website that they work with DVD drives as well. But in any case it didn't work with my HDD either.

I have heard complaints from others about IDE to Serial ATA not working properly. Perhaps your motherboard just doesn't support IDE to Serial ATA converter. If I were you I would send them back and get a refund.

The only solution I see is to look at buying Serial ATA devices to replace your IDE devices.
