Identifying wires/cords.

Does anyone know what these two wires are for, and what if any price they might fetch?

IDE cable is the flat ribbon cable. The other is a standard pc
/monitor power cable. The IDE cable is basically garbage as no updated system would even use them. The power cord is probably worth a couple bucks at most.

Oops, on second look that power cable isn't a standard pc power cable. Looks like its a partial power cord for a laptop and it would connect to the actual power brick. Sorry about that. I was on my phone when I replied yesterday and I just now looked at it again on my pc.

Do you know how I can find out exactly what it is to try to find it online?

I don't understand what you are getting at here. If you don't know what the power cord actually goes to then its basically garbage. My guess is that it does go to a laptop charger but there are other possibilities.

It's a universal cable type. It can go to a monitor that uses that type of plug but 99% of the time it goes to an AC adapter.
