any "PC" users in here tried netscape 8.0 yet? it sounds like a really good browser.. i am currently using IE 6 and haven't had any problems with it as of yet.. but i want to try netscape 8.0 for a particular reason for myself.. do anyone here recommend netscape over IE? i never tried netscape yet(the only time was way back at umm.. netscape 1.0? when it was still on that little box macintosh in elementary school) lol.. so any inputs?

i would like to use netscape.. tried firefox also.. wsan't my thing.. so any ideas guys? thanks.

Nah the netscape interface was bad ... extremely bad and inefficient
I would go with IE 6 after i tested both of them out, with Firefox inclusive
IE 6 has served me well and it will continue to ;)

Used it for about a week and then it really got annoying, switched back to firefox, which is doing a fine job of it all.

i see.. so the fact that netscape had both th IE n gecko rendering engine blending along with firefox and IE didn't cut it?

can that load time and lag be your system setup? or is that everyone? i understand that they have that splash screen.. which i dont mind..

firefox ey? well i might just give netscape a try cuz im just sorta the skeptical type of person... so does anyone know if netscape uninstalls good?

Netescape 8.0 looks pretty nice but its a broswer overloaded with all kind of useless features.....and it is the slowest browser I have used....

Netscape uses the same rendering engine as the Mozilla products do (Mozilla suite, Firefox). So unless you want all that useless crap that is packed into Netscape, then Firefox would be the best choice.
