IE isn't set to default but keeps opening!

I have Mozilla as my default web browser but IE keeps opening! Very frustrating!

In Outlook Express I click on links and they open in IE! How do I stop this?

Before the XP service pack update this was not a problem!

goto IE, click on internet options, then on programs and there is the default list for internet applications. select mozilla there.

if it fails, re-install mozilla or hava look in it's setup for default.
