IE shutdown problems

I have a laptop using Vista Home Edition. I have problems sending atachments to e-mails in Hotmail. If I go to "Atach-Photo" IE imedaetly shut down and I have to log on to the internet again. If I go to "Atach-File" I can send a photo as a file wiith no problem.
I think it may be an Explorer problem because the same thing happens if I try to do internet banking. IE shuts down as soon as I try to enter the bank site.
I would appreciate any help with this.

Ya once i was also suffering from the same problem.So i think that the best way to rid of this problem is by formating your PC or by switching to some other web browser like Chrome..

But I found a fix at hotmails help centre under atchment problems.
I Deleted all history and cookies went to IE Advanced settings and reset defaults and in Security settings nominated which sites to be trusted. Then every thing workes fine now
