IE8 errors in XP, SP3

Since installing IE8, when attempting to go to a website receive the following message:"Windows cannot find '(null)'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, etc." this comes up several times, then goes to the requested page. I have uninstalled and reinstalled three times, still get the same message. OS is Windows XP, SP 3. Any suggestions on what is causing this problem. IE8 installed on my other computer with no problems, but i was going from IE6 to IE8. On the problem computer was going from IE7 to IE8.

Any suggestions??
