Hey,
I've got an old-ish Epson Stylus 480 printer, and its still works fine, until just recently. I think the computer plugs got pushed into the wall, and one of the pins on the LPT computer port was bent out of shape. I bent it back, but now the printer doesnt work, it says "A connection error has occured".. So I'm thinking it's a cable problem, since it was working fine before.
What I was wondering, can I use this cable as a replacement? The printer has a IEEE1284 port, so is it possible to use this IEEE 1284 to USB converter cable?
