If I am using 1.6GB of 2GB, would my system be faster with 4GB?

I am running Vista 32 bit on 2GB or 800 speed RAM. When I play games, my memory usage jumps to 1.6GB. Would my system speed up if I installed 2 more GB or RAM?

Yes it would, but keep in mind the 32 bit OS will only recognize 3.25-3.5 GB of RAM.

I've seen enough of the "I installed 6 gigs of RAM, but only see 3" threads to expect that...
I want to clarify, I never actually run out of RAM. Does the computer slow when it doesn't have much RAM left, even if it is not out?
