I'm building a comp for the first time plz help

I'm building a computer and I was wondering if I need to use gel to install the processor or if it comes with it

thermal paste you out on TOP of the processor. it transfer the heat from the CPU to the Heatsink more efficiently. no gel is needed to put the CPU on the motherboard, you just unclip it and put it on.

ok then the thermal paste goeson top of the CPU AFTER you install it onto the mobo and its in a case. a rice size drop, and put the heatsink on it and push. take it off, it shuld be a nice round circle. if your going to overclock or do extreme gaming id suggest getting arctic silver 5 high density thermal compound... ebay. arctic silver is the best of all thermal pastes

If you're buying a CPU it'll come with a stock cooler, my intel cooler came with pre-applied thermal paste. So yeah, it should do
