I'm getting lag?

Hey, I have just got my new radeon hd 6870 for Christmas, today, and I have been getting lag on crysis, highest settings, the fan is on about 40% and 64 degreese Celsius, and have about 20-30Fps without recording, 1080p. How will I max it out with higher frames and I can overclock it, but I want to maintain a good temp. Please help :)

What games are you experiencing lag on? What exact setting is it at? Did you remove your old drivers and install the new ones?

well i lag on crysis 1 maxed out, all setting on "very high", and i do not lag on minecraft i get 100fps. i know i dont need good graphics for minecraft but i want to play crysis with no lag, and a site "game debate" says it will run smoothley on my system, try it yourself, type in my specs...http://www.game-debate.com/

That site is comparing your hardware against the minimum needed for playing. It is not saying the specs they listed can play the game at very high settings. Crysis is still a very intense game for systems. Even my 570 has some lag with it. Just be sure you have the most up-to-date drivers installed. A 6870 really isn't gonna cut it for the highest settings.

You need a Radeon 6950 or higher to play it smoothly.
