I just got my new 9600 pro 128mb and i get less fps compared to my old Geforce4 mx-440 64mb with no fan! When loading cs with my old gf4mx i get 99fps in most areas, gunfights = 60-99fps, lowest it is 60fps. I now have my new 9600 pro and i get 90-99fps, 20-70fps in gunfights. Anyone know whats goin on, i ran 3dmark 01, and 03, the scores crushed my old scores with the old gf4mx.My 3d mark scores with my gf4mx were both under 1000. My 3dmark 01 score = 7399, 3dmark 03 score = 3194 with my new radeon 9600pro

Something's definetlly wrong there, even with 3D Mark. If I'm not mistaking, I got 8000 something with my Radeon 8500 in 3DMark01 on that system...yeah, exact system ;P

Hmm...this wasn't one of the card someone said there might be problems, right? That was just the GF4 Ti?

As Hairy_Lee mentioned, double check the drivers, AGP drivers as well, and directx. Did you install the Via 4in1 stuff as I suggested, or whatever it's called now...

How do i uninstall the drivers totally, i tried going to add/remove programs, ati catalysts, and also tried clicking uninstall under display adapters in device manager.

This is a new radeon 9600pro, it has nothing wrong with it, its not the gf4ti hehe. What was that 4in1 thing?
