we have an FTP at work and provide clients with movie clips for their viewing pleasure. these files are MOV. files and quicktime is used to play them. recently, i dont know why, (im new here) they are getting a big Q with a question mark in the middle of it when trying to view it using internet explorer. i downloaded quicktime 7.5 and am using IE 7. i usually use firefox and it works there but i need to mimic this so i can explain to clients what they are doing wrong. please help...

If you want to stay in business,,,never, ever do that!!!

..

as for your issue..did you happen to run new driver update?

i have to explain it to them, its my job to get the movies to work on their pc's. i have to tell them what to click and so on.

new driver update? i dont think so, all i did was download the quicktime/itunes package. on quicktime.com i know there are other methods to use but i need to use what they have. i cant tell clients to download firefox.
