Hi,

I noticed that my processors Mhz is too low just a few minutes ago. Then I booted the computer and entered the bios and noticed that my processor Mhz is 100 so I rised it to 190 Mhz (too much I guess), but the result wasn't good 'cause when I saved the settings and booted the comp my monitor doesn't work anymore. And it's peeping while the computer is on, every 3 seconds.

My computer specs:

MSI K7N2-Delta
AMD Athlon 3200+
Gainward 6600 GT GS
2x512 DDR 333Mhz (kingston)

350 PSU
Monitor is 17" Samtron
Windows XP pro

Never mind, I got it. I just took both of my memory out and put them back and then it started to work again. Yeah! :)

Are you sure you didn't mean the BUS speed? Cause if your CPU speed is 100mhz you're running a pretty slow machine. As for the RAM you MAY want to check it (I do just because it's safe/better to). Use memtest86 (www.memtest86.com) and let it run a single pass. What most likely happened was you put it too high and it failed to boot because it couldn't/wouldn't/would have damaged the system. When this happens most new boards automatically reset the BIOS to the last known good settings or default. If this happens again you can reset the BIOS yourself by moving the jumper (for ~1 minute then back again) or pull the battery for ~1 minute.
