I'm having some strange issues with BF2, please help

well i've been playing all day, without any problems with settings on medium. I'm running it on a laptop with 512 ram so it aint that great, but at least it runs. Anyways, about 30 min ago, every time I try to connect to a server, i get kicked back to the menu with a message that says my connection to the server was lost. Wtf is up with this!! its driving me crazy, I've tried at least 20 servers all with the same problem! Sometimes I get all the way into the game, where I'm just about to pick my kit, and then i get kicked back to the menu screen. An sometimes it will do it almost immediatly. There's nothing wrong with my connection, and nothing has changed settings wise all day. What do i do!! i can't play! someone please help me out
 
Happens to me occasionaly also, I just shut the game down, restart my PC, then just dont play for a few hours. When I go back on, the problem isnt there anymore. Or try resetting your modem or router (or both if you have both)
 
I had a similar problem... I think it had to do with the patch. Quick question: When you are on the server for that short amount of time, do you see lots of messages saying "[username] has disconnected from server", before you get disconnected too?
