Hey how's it going.
My price range is somewhere around $1000, give or take $400 depending if its worth it or not.
Looking for quad core, i5 is okay, pref. i7.
ddr3 memory, not worried about amount, I could upgrade whenever.
500gb hdd or more (1T would be amazing)
windows 7
ati 5xxx gpu or gtx 2xx pref. (if you dont think Ill need these for what Ill be playing other recommendations would be great)
15" screen is what I am expecting, but if there is a 17" that would be epic.
I wont be maxing the graphics out, but I want it to run smooth for whatever im playing. Im not expecting desktop capabilities. A decent battery life for when im around school doing homework, not while playing games (it will be plugged in for that)
Ill be playing L4D2 and the first one. Starcraft 2, World of warcraft, and Bad Company 2.
I live in central California. I'm very familiar with Newegg, and yes, I live near a Micro Center
