I'm looking for a good LCD monitor

Hello, I am looking to find a good monitor. I want it to be in the range of 19", give or take a couple. I am building my own system and trying to save money. I'm hoping not to spend more than $400 on this monitor. So far, the best I have found is this Samsung , but I really don't know what to look for. I would like to know if this is a good monitor or if you know of a better one that's a good deal.
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Check out www.newegg.com or www.tigerdirect.com as you will probably get a better deal than buying it from Best Buy or such. I have a Samsung 19" 915n and I highly recommend that monitor. Its pretty cheap and has an 8ms response time. I game with it and have no ghosting issues.

My choices: Samsung, NEC, LG; in that order... :)

can i recommend a widescreen, they are so much nicer than square ones

Personally, I don't like them, I think they're great for watching movies, but everything they're just annoying 'cause nothings designed to use it properly. Just my opinion... :)
