I need a linux system that meets these guidelines:

Runs as a Microsoft Windows program (XP or ME)
Can be installed on a portable FAT32 USB hard drive.
Is not WinLinux 2003
Does not need to install on a partition.
It NEEDS to work! :)

And I'm also willing to use a seperatee OS on my computer:
Installs on a portable FAT32 USB Hard Drive
No Partitioning needed
Works.

If there is a REALLY good one that needs paritioning,
I'll let everyone recomend good non DOS-Based free software.

Thankx.

Unless you are asking for Linux emulation this is impossible.

Every distrobution of linux works, however most don't like being installed with a single partition. All distrobutions should have a partitioner that can be run during install (like windows does)

actually, I have already seen mandriva Linux. But the Linux emulators might work. Not really Cygwin, I have the file, and need to reinstall it, not to mention the other one I installed incompletely. What other (small-sized) emulators are there? I can try some out :) . Other that that, are there decent real Linux systems that work with no partitioning? I found one, topologiLinux. But I would really like to know about the emulators.

i checked on the virtual PC thing. a little expensive, as it is done by microsoft. The only thing microsoft is rally good at is making OSs. Any other emulators?
