I'm looking for some help

Hi,

I'm desparately seeking some help. I'm an avid World of Warcraft player but have been finding it hard to access on my computer. Constant crashing, not letting me log in etc.

It's been three months of hell with me unsuccessfully trying to play the game so i've decided it's time to buy a new computer.

I just don't really know where to start. All I want is a computer that will play the game well. I don't even know whether just getting some more RAM for my current pc would solve the problem.

If anyone could give me some advice on what to look for in a pc that will run this game then I would be really grateful!

Thanks, Ems

Well what is your pc setup right now... Detailed. And what would be the amount you could spend on a new pc? Would you be ok building it yourself?

if your computer has good specs its possible that its all blizzards fault. blizzard is known not to fix things and leave their customers constantly in the dark

With half the population of the world playing WOW it seems a lot of people would be left in the dark... Blizzard does an excellent job updating the game, and fixing problems. I would say Steam is the worst company for issues.

The reason they would be so different is Blizzard's WOW is a 15/mo game as Steams CS/HL are a one time purchase game. Blizzard needs to keep you happy, and wanting to keep playing.

I have a friend who plays from here in California on an east coast server. His ping is usually 250+. He gets very little lag though. This is not do ENTIRELY because of Blizzard... This is still a huge distance. Also think of how many people play on the server!
