please okay so i have a 2400XT.....(SUCKS)... but was usable.. but because of my obsession with smoother game play i think i burned my card, because my screen was having artifacts, and i was getting the BSOD whenever i plugged my card in... So i save three pay checks(i'm 16 taking AP and college courses i only get to work 1 day per week : ( ).... and so far i have 120 dollars to spend on any graphic card of my choice... so any recommendations... my system specs is in my sig... I just want a card that has a vista rating higher than 3.6 (that what I had w/ my older card).. so can anyone help... thank you!!...

8800gt or 3870. that's my advice for the money. hope this helps, btw theres someone in the FS thread selling a 8800gt for 75+shipping

Not sure of the 3850, a friend of mine has a 3870 and he gets 5.9. And yes, that PSU will be plenty, as long as it's a good brand.

Vista Rating does'nt really matter, many cards max out.

3870 is a great choice. Go for a 4850 if you can afford it, when sales go on, they get as long as $150.

What do you guys think of the 9800gt series... i know where to get it for under 130... is that good or no?... or how about the 4670, they seem like solid cards... or should i wait till the 4830 comes out..?

if you want to spend more, get the 4850. it's worth it in every way. best money for performance. trust me, i've done my research for 1 week straight until i decieded to buy the 4850 and microcenter for 190(160) after MIR, but now i'm sporting the gddr5 4870 :)
