hi i just bought a mobo the Asus A8N32-SLi Deluxe nForce4 SLi X16 an upgrade for my pc and everything was fine then i noticed that the razer copperhead mouse i have been using for a year without problems would stop working randomly so i googled it and found out that the mouse is not compatable with my new mobo how crap is that i was wondering if anyone new of a fix for this problem ,if not at least other people will read this and not make the same mistake i did, thanks for any help
 
damn... am i lucky i use a Microsoft Trackball.. ^^ i just ordered that motherboard..

anyhow.. did you try to connect the mouse through the PS2 port? (assuming its USB) and have you looked for a BIOS update (unlikely.. but possible :) )?
 
i did bios update i will try with ps2 adapter ,i think its only the razer mouse the mobo has problems with i hope this is the case
 
There are so many mice out there I would just look at getting a different mouse. Is there something special about the razor? Not familiar with that brand. :)
 
yes its a great gaming mouse with 2000dpi and on the fly adjustment of the speed it also costs around £50
 
Sell the Razor to get a return on your investment, and get a 1000-1400 dpi optical mouse. Unless you're doped on Caffeine and cocaine, I don't think the extra dpi matters.
