I'm thinking about upgrading.

My current setup is as listed in my signature. The things that I want to change in my computer are as follows:

GPU: EVGA GeForce 9800 GTX- $150.00

Liquid Cooling: Thermaltake Prowater 850i- $150.00 >Basically because my CPU runs at about 55 Degrees and over 60 when playing games etc. Unless there is a better and cheaper alternative thats a heatsink.

Hard Drive: Western Digital 500gb- $65.00

Tell me what you think of this. And if there is any better and cheaper alternative to the liquid cooling such as a heatsink that will keep it cool.:D

You could just get a bunch more fans in your system, but if I have left over money I am definitely getting liquid cooling.

That's the thing about extra fans. I have all my slots filled up and i have like 3 fans and it still is pretty hot.

Yeah, watercooling with a clearsided case and either red or blue liquid is beastly to look at in a computer.

Well the thing is that i don't want to buy liquid cooling just because it looks "beastly" I need to get performance out of it. That's why i'm asking if there is an alternative.

im using 3 fans and an arctic cooling freezer 7 pro, and having no probs with overheating. i personally dont trust having water near my electrics, but it works amazingly from what ive seen. and maybe 3 fans is overkill. =p but ive had problems with overheating on other comps before. the rest of your set up looks beautiful though. :D

That cooler should do you good, the one that grimtofu mentioned. The rest looks real good, though go with the 4870.
