Ok, this is why I dont use Mac's, but someone gave me this iMac G3 OS X 10.3. and I am having the hardest time netwoking it. First off the reason they gave me this mac is because they forgot the admin password and needed to change somthing. So I got it. (I just need to get the disc's sometime to reset the password). Anywho When I first got the mac i was able to see and view windows computers and access their files, but as a non mac user:P I wanted to learn more about this machine, so I played with the settings and I guess i messed something up. BUT now when i go to the Network it has an icon that says SERVERS I click it then it says HOME which is the mac. so at this point I cant access anything administrative, network resources, windows computers, but I can GET internet.

Additional Info:

Computers:
Power PC iMac G3 OS X 10.3
Windows PC XP
Windows PC XP
Windows PC XP (acts like a Server, does the following: shares files and printers, Bridges 3 Network LAN cards and >1 Wireless Adapter<(source of internet) and the bridged LAN's are for the network containing the MAC and 2 Windows PC's)

I would suggest wiping it and starting over if it was given to you. You have no idea what the previous user did on that machine. To network a Mac and a PC though is actually really easy.

In the sharing pref pane in System Preferences make sure Windows File sharing is enabled. Since SMB REQUIRES authentication you will have to authenticate to your PC and vice versa. You may have to give an account proper settings to make it work.
