image question.

how come on my desktop pc i can see certain images on my website (myspace, xange etc..) and not on my laptop? do i need to dl something on to my laptop that i might not already have?

What kind of images? I mean, on myspace, I know they have slide shows that probably run as JAVA or Flash/Shockwave. Could you just not have that installed?
