I tried to fix it on my own but I failed so I decided to take it to a small repair shop in my town. The technician spent 4 weeks trying to fix it. He checked every single part individually, replaced parts etc... but the problem keeps happening and he was unable to identify the problem.
What should I do now, I really need my computer for school work. Is there a really good computer repairs shop in sydney that can repair the computer for me or at least identify the problem?
Please help me guys.
My computer specs are:
990X CPU
Rampage III Black Edition MB
Corsair 12GB DGT RAM
1000 PSU
GTX 580 GPU
OCZ SSD boot drive

What make and model of PSU do you have exactly? Open up your case and have a look.

k some questions,

- did he also replace your cooler?
- is the cpu oc?
- how big is your ssd?
- do you have a second hdd?
- everything is connected right on the mobo?

some suggestions to do:

- press the button "memOK!" on your motherboard until your pc starts (his will check if there are no problems with your ram)
- look into your bios and reset to the original settings
- look up your temps
- and what spirit said --> say which brand your psu is from

EDIT: he did it already, that psu should be ok if all cables are plugged in right.

k some questions,

- did he also replace your cooler? I have a 360 radiator and it's working properly.
- is the cpu oc? No!
- how big is your ssd? 60GB
- do you have a second hdd? 2 X 1TB Western Digitals
- everything is connected right on the mobo? Yes.

All done, problem remains :(

Sorry, it's not 1000W, it's 900W.
Enermax Gold: Modu87+

Your PSU is from a good brand.

Try resetting your BIOS back to defaults and maybe update your SSD firmware. Also try checking your RAM and any of your HDDs/SSDs for errors.

You can use Memtest86 to check your RAM. As for the HDD, it depends on the HDD brand as to what software you need to use.

you can also use the special feature on the mobo like I said before...

No, no problems
The technician had a brand new 8GB ram, he replaced my corsairs with those but the problem remains. He changed the GPU and PSU and the problem still remains.
The only two parts that he didn't check are the CPU and the motherboard.

Well it could be a bad board. Have you tried updating your BIOS? I know you've reset it to defaults, but try updating it.

How do i update the bios?
I'm really sick of my computer and PC's in general. I'm thinking about buying the new Macbook Pro, or should i try to fix my pc? if i wanted to sell the parts is it easy on ebay?
