Important question about intel processor

Hi there i currently have the Intel Pentium 4 Extreme 3.73 processor and was approaced a few days ago about trading processors with a guy i know from school he has a Intel Pentium D 3.2 64 bit processor i was just wondering if anyone knows any good reason to do this or if i should keep my current processor, i have heard so many things about how Pentium D processors are not even relivant yet in comp world unlil vista....can i get some help thanx
 
i odnt thin i would ever trade a processor, unless it was your moms or dads.
who knows what could have happened. Maybe he wants to pull a quick one.

for duel core, go amd....LIKE ME!!! :)
 
imo, you should stick with the P4 comparing the prices your friend could just trade your processor and sell it for quite a bit while your stuck with a faulty Pentium D.
Plus looking at the speed yours is faster than his, so why trade them?
Just keep your P4 trust us :D
 
There both good. but i would suggest you keep the EXTREME because it's faster and the Pentium D isn't as good as the EXTREME. You would have a fast computer there mate
