Hi, When ever I am playing a game such like Crysis sometime the game freezes and makes a noise and then goes silent. the whole computer just froze and i have to restart computer. Some people is telling me is because of overheat issue . I dont know how it freezes but i think it has to do something with either my Processor or graphics card. Both I check Seems fine. When im in Crysis the processor goes around 35C load and the Graphics card (8800GT) at 60C-70C load. Does anyone know what can be the issue for my PC to freeze. Can it also be my mobo bios need to be updated? any ideas...??? Please help. thank you

Sound and video drivers are "the" most common type of problem for seeing system locks while gaming. At times even a driver in the game itself will try to access a Windows reserved memory address. Then you may see the infmaous "thread caught in infinite loop" message appear. But the wrong version or lately with both ATI and NVidia it seems you simply have to wait for the next update to be released to see this cleared up.

Sound drivers for Vista being automatically downloaded onto an XP system will also cause a number of problems. That was Creative's latest goof there!
