In need of a hardware build that supports both XP and Win7

I did have an account once upon a time here, but it seems that in my inactivity it was pruned.

Anyhow, I'm currently in need of a hardware build (preferably pre-built and new) that supports XP and Windows 7. I realize that this is typically a horrible idea to even consider XP right now. However this computer will be used exclusively for one piece of software, and will never be connected to any sort of networking. Unfortunately despite hours of trying everything under the sun, it still refuses to work on Windows 7 yet works flawlessly on XP. I'd like to stay around the $600 - $700 mark, and plan on adding an SSD post purchase. It seems that the latest Intel processor to support XP is the 2nd generation i5, which would be great if I could just find one. Closest thing I've found is the Dell Optiplex 7010, but it uses a 3rd gen i5. Is there hardware that I haven't considered yet, or some outlet that I could still get this hardware new?

Motherboard with AMD AM3+ or LGA 1155 socket should have driver for XP

Why do you need new hardware?
Used PC with i7 3770 are under $300

I can tell you a Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 motherboard works with XP and 7. I know because I own one. So with that in mind look at a MOBO that supports a LGA 775 CPU. I'm sure there are others, but that's what I can come up with at the moment.

Prebuilt? That's a tough one. You could buy the parts and have a good reputable computer shop near you put it together. Expect a charge of at least $100.

What is your intended use with dual OS's? You might be able to have a modern system and then run XP in a virtual machine. But if it's for gaming in XP that won't work.
