In need of hardware advice!!!!!!

Im new to the whole computer building scene and i'm hopin to build a new computer for christmas with a budget of about £600. I need the computer to be able to play the latest games such as F.E.A.R, Quake 4 and other demanding games. Anywayz... i have a few things in mind to buy but id like to get your opinions on them.

Mother board - fatal1ty a8n
CPU - amd 4000+

I dont really know what graphics card to get, either radeon or geforce? Anywayz could any of you reply as soon as with some info if ya could. Thx
 
i'm not how sure i am about this. but i'm gonna take a guess that if u wanted to play the latest games out there, ur looking at 600+ for the mobo,cpu, and gpu.
 
That motherboard and CPU seems a little bit overkill for you budget. I would atleast suggest the non fatal1ty 8an, and maybe a slightly cheaper CPU?
 
I dont really need to get a great graphics card straight away, its just for when i more money i can get a new one. Any recomendations???
