inactive icons not hiding

I just got my computer working again , and for some ****ing reason inactive icons arent hiding. Its l;ike going across my whole bar with icons lol. What do i do

I assume you have gone into the Taskbar Properties (right-click on the Taskbar and choose Properties) and that the Hide inactive icons checkbox is checked.

Try unchecking it, then click Apply, then check it again and click Apply again. Also you may need to reboot your machine for the change to take effect.

See if that works.
