Inconsistent powerups

Hello. A few days ago, I purchased a new Antec case with a 400 watt PS. I moved all of my components from the old puter into the new case and have evidently gotten something miswired. First, the machine starts up inconsistently - i.e. sometimes the monitor won't fire up when the machine is turned on; when I do get the monitor to start with the computer, the computer may stay on for one minute or one hour, then freeze up completely, then shut down on its own. While it's on, it seems to run fine, but it just won't stay on. I'm hoping that this behavior may strike an obvious solution to someone - if so, please help! Thanks in advance to all respondants for their assistance. Following is a list of all components:

MOTHERBOARD - Asus P5GD1-VM
CPU - Pentium 4 - 3.2 GHz
HDD - Maxtor SATA 160
CASE - Antec TX-640

i would say that the power supply isn't up to the task (going by my previous experience of PSU's that come with cases). Obviously your system was working in your old case so i would take the PSU from your old case and put it into your new case.
