Incorrect Ram Bus Speed - question

I purchased DDR3 Corsair Ram. The ram is supposed to be 1333 bus, but my computer only reads it at 1066. My mother board supports 1333. I am not sure what to do.


The ram is:

CORSAIR XMS3 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TW3X4G1333C9DHX - Retail

Please let me know if you know how to make it 1333 bus.

Have you tried to go into BIOS and change the settings?

Don't be ashamed, thats how we all learn. Make sure you right down what settings you changed in bios. (For future purposes)
