Incorrect RAM Voltage on a Gigabyte Mobo

Here's the components list of the PC that I'm building (posted under Desktops, Another New Build).

The only problem is that the RAM uses 2.1v, and not 1.8v. The motherboard supplies 1.8v to the slots, but I need 2.1v there. I know you have to change this in the BIOS, but can anyone tell me how?

For those that didn't pick up on the list, it's a Gigabyte GA-N650SLI-DS4L nForce 650i SLI Socket 775 8 channel audio ATX Motherboard. You can find the information pages at the links below.

Thanks for any help in advance.

All that means is the board will support down to 1.8 volts, by default the voltage will be set to auto in the bios so on newer boards there about a 95% chance it will boot at 2.1. If not you just go into the bios take it off auto and manually set it to 2.1

By this, I assume you mean that the motherboard will support any RAM modules requiring 1.8v and up. If this is correct, does the motherboard automatically adjust the power output accordingly? If not, how do I change the values manually?

I had a friend who was using an MSI board, and he had to configure his values manually, but seeing as he moved away, I can't ask him how he did it. Thanks for the speedy reply and any further advice that anyone can offer.

Yes it means that it supports 1.8 and up. If it doesnt boot at 2.1 in the bios you find your voltage setting and change it from auto the 2.1.

Thanks for that. Will be building the machine Wednesday night (ordering Monday now I know all components are solid). Thanks for all of the help StrangleHold.
