Increasing Write Speed and Defragging HDD

I need to record Videos for Youtube on Tuesday and basically everyday but when i record in dxtory and fraps i get a low write speed(low file fps.) Is there an easy fix for this besides buying another HDD? I've heard that Defragging helps but how could i defrag without losing files. Can you suggest some safe defragging softwares.

Ok well i was playing around with some settings and i enable these two options in Device Manger and My recording was back to normal YAY

But i was wondering would defragging would improve preformance?

Defragging, if the hard drive is severely fragged will give somewhat of a performance increase. Check to see how bad it is first before doing anything. Use a third party program such as disk defraggler or Auslogics disk defrag.
