infected cd???

Hi, i have a cd that Norton claims is crammed full of viruses, trojans and all there is, but i can't really see why there should. Have anyone read the book Maximum Security, for securing your system and network? It's this cd, im talking about. It contains bunches of security tools (which naturally would serve a cracker well). Therefor my theory is, could it be that because of the well special nature of many of these programs, Norton gets rather suspicious, and somehow detects viruses so on? Have anyone had experience with this before? Man i just took it out of it's wrapping! :confused:
 
Yes, most antiv virus software such as mcafee searches for different category of files. Cracks are usually listed under 'Unwanted files/programs' so if you dont want these to be detected then go in to your virus scan options and disable this feature.
