information required regarding custom build laptops

Hi all

i s it possible for someone to tell me whether or not I can buy off the shelf or have custom built a laptop that does not include internet access. I know I can buy one and not use it but I would prefer to buy one without a modem, wifi or ethernet etc.

Basically we have a home computer I use for browsing and I also use my smartphone. The laptop is only going to be used for word processing, photoshop and ripping/burning music from already owned cd's. Hence the reason why I dont want any internet included.

do you mean a self build laptop kit or to get one custom built for you ?

Laptops these days come with wired and wireless NICs standard, I don't think you'll find anything that doesn't. Wired networking is built into a laptops motherboard, but a wireless card can be easily removed.

Are you trying to find a laptop without network capability to save money? If so there is no reason to because a wireless card is only about a $20 part.
