initializing boot agent version 2.2

Can not log in into comp (IBM, Win2000 Pro). it says "initializing boot agent version 2.2" --> then shows IBM screen and back to the same message --> initializing boot agent version 2.2 ....
Does not pass the step of initializing boot agent version 2.2.

Any suggestions? PLs help!

You have to have some kind of software installed that would cause this error, but it's not windows related
