Inno 3D GTX 470 Vs Palit GTX 460 Sonic Platinum

Hey guys,

What are your thoughts on the above two cards?

Worth the extra for the 470?

Nah just get the 460 its more than enough for anything you throw at it,Just buy a stock one too and overclock it yourself,I dont see why people pay extra for overclocked cards when you can easily do it yourself for free!
 
The average user doesn’t have the knowledge base to overclock. Also, the average user is probably lazy and would rather pay $10 extra then go to the effort of discovering the limitations of the card themselves.

Plus you get warranty with the pre-overclock.
The sonic platinum would actually probably be faster than a stock speed 470

I'd say it would be worth waiting a little longer for the gtx 5xx series i'd imagine there will be a gtx 560 and 570 and they will prob be a similar price and better.

i'm also looking for gpus from nvidia, since i got no cash atm this is how i justify that i have to wait lol

now look at it from my point, i have cash, and want a computer :P.........
