Input Lag Is It a Myth?

I was reading an article recently about input lag and inverse ghosting and how the fast response monitors suffer from a bad case of input lag. Esepcially the large 30inch monitors. Although the manufacturers deny this i was wondering has anyone noticed any input lag whilst changing from monitor to monitor? (Input lag is the response time of typing to the type appearing on the screen just to let you know :D) Has anyone notcied a change in the input times when they have gone from monitor to monitor?
There is a webpage to see what your monitor your input lag time at http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/response_time.php

So what do you guys think? :good:

Sorry guys just realised you need a second monitor for the input lag one to test it so some people might not be able to do it. But it has inverse ghosting monitor there too.

This is not a myth.

Input lag is a common occurrence with LCD and even Plasma technology. It takes time for the monitor to process and display the image and. This becomes much more noticeable with displays that further process the incoming video signal (such as de-noise and de-blocking filters and others).

This is one reason why some people prefer to play video games on a CRT display.

Decent test page too. Thanks for the link!
