"Insert System Disk"

hi!

my first time here.

I kept my laptop for only a day but when I turned it on, it says on the screen, "Insert System Disk". I pressed Enter and doesn't want me to go on to my Operating System. It did the same thing about a week or so but when I pressed Enter, it took me to the operating system and started. Is it because of a power saver/memory is on sleep mode? Thoughts..

Is the HDD setup as the primary boot device?

Are you talking about a Floppy Diskettes like a Startup Disk and a DOS Disk? I do have both.
