Insert text in videoes

Hi All,

I m very new here. I have two questions. How can I insert text in a video?

And if there is a text in the video, how can I remove that? There r videoes in the internet and they write there web address on the video and it makes problem 2 watch the video. How can I remove that text?

I hope some1 will answer my question.
 
For your first question. To add text you need a video editing program. Something like Windows Movie Maker that already comes with lots of computers.
 
How 2 insert text

Dear Nini,

I have that software. And I m doing some change in videoes. (It makes the video clips funny) But the problem is I do not find that how to insert or remove text from the video clips. Do u have ne more suggestions?

Or ne1 can plz, plzz help me? Thnx in advance.
 
On the left side there is a column.. under #2 Select: Make Titles or Credits
Thats how you put text in

The new title (which I insert) is showing with the old text on the video. I m meaning that two text is showing in the video. The old text and my one. How can I remove the old text or my one? And my text does not keeps longer. It shows one times then disappear.

What should I do now?
 
I have no idea how to "remove" text that already came with the video.

But as for your title showing up longer, look in the timeline at the bottom and you will see a slide with your text. You can drag that as long as you want it, so it will show up for a longer period of time.

does the text already in the video come up over the video or is it seperate?(like over a blank screen), because if it is over a "blank" screen it would be very easy to edit it out, where as if it was over the picture it could be harder, i have no idea what to do about it if its over the picture....
