Inspiron 1521 trouble

My Dell Insipron 1521 didnt have any problem running CS:S, and C&C:Generals untill today. It runs slow on even the lowest settings. I have defraged, scanned for viruses, and just about everything.

Specs:

TK-55
2gb 667mhz ram
Radeon x1270
160gb HDD (110free)

It runs at 55c at max load.

monitor your temps with coretemp or speedfan.
Your cpu might might be throttling down from the heat.

When did you bought it? if you still have garantuee i suggest you simply give Dell a call.
