I have a MacBook Pro model# A1278 (9,2) with 10GB RAM and a 1TB HDD which currently has windows 8.1 on it, I am attempting to install a Hackintosh copy of Yosemite on it but it gets stuck on stock Apple logo on first boot from USB but works fine in VMware, it even shows Hackintosh boot logo. Am I doing something wrong?

Hackintosh

Like I said I installed a new hard drive and my mac didn't come with a OSX DVD and I already have a Hackintosh ISO but when i copy it to USB, bootcamp detects it but freezes half way through boot... And i would use the recovery partition but i don't wont to re-download OSX.

You're better off using internet recovery, because we're not going to help you otherwise.

Download OS X (should be free on the Mac store) and create recovery media. Hackintosh is not meant to be installed the way you're trying to do so. Plus it's against forum rules to discuss using the Hackintosh program. :P
