Install Loop Windows XP Pro

Hi

I tried to install BT broadband but something went wrong and it did not detect a signal. I uninstalled the software and attempted to reinstall. BAD move. Now everytime I put the install disc in it goes straight to the point after reboot, tells me there is a problem and launch the help menu, which I have now uninstalled.
I imagine that there is a mark in memory to tell the OS to start from the BT Disc reboot but where is it and how do I get rid of it?
Thanks in advance

Are you connecting to your modem via USB or Ethernet? If it's USB, all you should need is the drivers from the CD, not the software itself. Try going into the device manager and see if you can have it search the CD fro drivers.
