Installation Monitor?

Hey guys, is there any software that would allow me to see what files were installed on a harddrive during an installation? I have found that many programs leave behind things I wish to be removed without informing me. It would help me a lot.

Offhand I do not know of any freeware that I would trust with that responsibility and I do not trust or use Add/Remove Programs.
I use and would recommend using Norton CleanSweep (part of Norton Systemworks... which does not have a small price tag). I have used this utility with Windows 98/2000/XP and it really works.

Thanks for the tip. I do not have money to afford that so I guess I will have to stick with add and remove for now. Thanks for the effort though. Greatly appreciated.
