Hello. I just got my 8600 GT and my PSU today and I'm very excited to install it. However this would be my first time screwing around with the inside of my computer, so could you please tell me if what I'm about to do is correct?

1. Disable my integrated video card (geforce 6150 se)
2. Unplug power
3. Get rid of static electricty in my body
4. slide in the video card to PCI-E x16
5. Take out old PSU
6. mount the new PSU
7. Put the connectors in their place
8. plug everything back in
9. turn on computer
10. use the cd that came with my 8600 gt
11. done?

Are these the right steps? Also do i have to take out the old video card (6150 se) after i disable it and unplug everything? Or since its "integrated" or w/e does that mean its a card i can't pull out and all i need to do is disable? Sorry im just afraid im going to screw up my computer. =]

I'd install the new PSU first and be sure everything still works. It's much better to have a problem after changing one thing than after doing multiple things...

Disabling the onboard is probably optional as well. It should do so automatically. If not, you could always disable it later. Worst case, it may take priority over your other card at first depending on your bios settings.
