Installed new power supply box, now DVD/CD-ROMS not working.

Today I installed a new graphics card, but it needed a higher power supply box. So I bought one and installed that as well. I followed every single direction about the box, but now my cd-rom/dvd drivers are not working. They open and stuff, but they don't read anything. They don't show up on my devices in my control panel either. I cannot fully install my new graphics card unless it reads the installation disc. I've been trying to figure this out for hours now but no customer service lines are open at this time. There is a CDRW/DVD drive and a regular CD drive. I need to figure out how to configure them to my computer but I cannot figure it out. Help?

maybe you didn't press in the data cable hard enough on both sides (mobo and drive). do a wiggle test and if it falls out then that's the culprit

A lose cable would be the first thing I would check. The data cable on the DVD drive at both the drive end and the motherboard end. If you want to know if your PSU is powerfully enough you need to let us know your systems specs.

Since both drives don't work, I'd check the data/interface cables. Especially if they're both on IDE. More than once I've bumped an IDE cable and pulled it out just enough from the motherboard where it wouldn't work.
