i recently installed sniper eilte (out of nostalgia). after it installed something else (something for the game but now i can't remember what it was) for the game, it wanted me to reboot. i didn't because i was in the middle of downloading something and i forgot to reboot afterwards. today, i shut down to move the computer. when i tried to boot up, i couldn't. it kept going to the automatic system recovery, which wasn't able to resolve the issue.
i also tried to restore to an earlier time but only two times were listed, both of which were after the sniper elite install. is there any way to access earlier times? i tried selecting show more times but that didn't show anything else. i also tried restoring to the earlier times but those didn't work either. i am about 99% sure it was due to the sniper elite install. for now i am going to try and install windows on another hdd and try to manually delete the sniper elite files.
any ideas as to how to fix this? i really don't want to have to reinstall windows on the main hdd again, everything is just the way i want it
