Installing 2 OS on laptop?

I have a plextor 128gb ssd and a normal 500gb hdd in my laptop. Will the overall performance of my laptop be slowed down if i install Windows 8 in my ssd and Windows 7 or Vista in hdd?

No it won't, when you are booted into one OS having another OS installed on another HD won't impact performance. However, Windows 7/Vista will run slower being on a mechanical HD versus the SSD. Also note that you may want to partition the 500GB HD, as once you install Windows 8 on the 128GB SSD, you won't have much storage space left for application and files.
